Connaissez-vous ce fruit dont tout le monde parle en bien ? Les cranberries (canneberges en français) sont de petits fruits rouges possédant des bienfaits très intéressants pour notre santé.

La cranberry est commercialisée fraîche depuis la période de récolte (septembre) jusqu’à la fin de l’année, le fruit se conservant bien naturellement. Elle est aussi vendue sous forme de jus de fruit, séché, dans les magasins de produits diététiques et bio mais aussi de plus en plus en supermarché. Vous pouvez aussi le trouver sous forme de complément alimentaire (gélules, comprimés, sachets, etc.) en pharmacie.
Il y a quelques mois, j’avais trouvé la solution des cranberries séchées lorsque j’avais des petites fringales. Je les mangeais un peu comme des bonbons. C’était mon grignotage santé.
Cette fois, l’été arrivant à grands pas, j’ai choisi de commencer une petite cure de jus de cranberries. Ce fruit est reconnu pour ses qualités thérapeutiques précisément pour son pouvoir antioxydants.
Depuis deux ou trois ans, il est de plus en plus fréquent de trouver des marques de jus de cranberry au supermarché, Ocean Spray m’a proposé de tester 3 produits :

  • ·         Ocean Spray Cranberry
  • ·         Ocean Spray Cranberry light
  • ·         Ocean Spray Cranberry Myrtille

Chacun de ces jus ont des goûts voisins mais avec quelques différences.
J’avoue que j’ai craqué pour la version Cranberry Myrtille que je trouve plus douce, moins acidulée.

Dans un verre de 200ml d’Ocean Spray Cranberry vous avez le jus de 50 cranberries.
Mais, quels sont donc ces bienfaits dont on parle souvent :

  •       La cranberry est riche en vitamine C et en autres antioxydants.
  • ·         Ce fruit améliore votre santé cardio-vasculaire et la consommation de jus de canneberge fait augmenter le HDL (bon cholestérol) et fait baisser le mauvais cholestérol.

Quant au jus de Cranberry Ocean Spray:

  • ·         Il a su garder le côté antibactérien naturel de la Cranberry. Ce jus rafraîchissant préviendrait les infections urinaires, car il empêche les bactéries causant ces infections de s’accrocher.

Donc, pourquoi s’en priver ?

Certaines personnes peuvent trouver le jus de cranberry un peu sucré (en effet, ce petit fruit est très acide, il faut donc ajouter du sucre à la préparation), c’est un peu mon cas.
Alors, je me prépare des « cocktails » : moitié Ocean Spray, moitié eau pétillante. C’est vraiment très rafraichissant.
Si vous faîtes attention à votre apport en sucres, l’Ocean Spray light est la solution.
Vous pouvez aussi vous servir de ces jus pour faire des smoothies, ou bien ajouter le matin à votre muesli.

    mon mari en boit mais souvent c’est assez sucré donc moi j’évite et comme d’hab moi la chasseuse d’additifs avec mon appli yuka j’ai constaté que certains en avaient et d’autres pas ! donc je les choisis
    les cranberrys séchés c’est bien en en cas !
    et effectivement en cas d’infection urinaire, je prends des gélules de Cranberry
    voilà mes petites expériences !!!!
